Experiential learning is the key to a student's success. Join us on an adventure in our backyard, and learn about geography, geology, weather, climate, earthquakes and so much more. These videos are great ways to engage with your students, and help provide that hands on engagement they need.

Out of the Collection

You will never know what treasures are hiding in plain sight. Out of the Collection is just that- sharing historical documents, treasures, and stories that will engage with your students in an all-new way. 

Interactive Lecture Material

There are hundreds of recorded lectures, ranging from latitude & longitude, mineral identification, world regions, and history. Integrate these videos to create engaging activities and lessons for your courses, or search for videos to help you discover the world around us. 

Course Curriculum & Playlists

Introduction to Physical Geography

Examines the Earth's dynamic physical systems and processes. Topics include Earth-sun geometry, weather, climate, water, landforms, soil, and biosphere. Emphasis is on the interrelationships among environmental and human systems and processes and their resulting patterns and distributions. Tools of geographic inquiry are also briefly covered; they may include: maps, remote sensing, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Global Positioning Systems (GPS).

World Regional Geography

Examines the interdependency, connectivity, and diversity of the world's regions, both in natural environments and cultural societies. It also explores sensitive equity and ethnic issues facing society. 

California Geography

Explores the physical and human landscapes that have evolved as a result of the human-environment interface. The topics includes California's issues, processes and topics relevant to geography including climate, landforms, natural vegetation, water resources, cultural landscape, ethnic diversity, urban and agricultural regions, and the economy.
